Today we will be talking about extractor fans in the bathroom, so join us as we go through what they are, what they can be used for and how they can help you in this new mini-series.
Switching:
Did you know there are two ways an extractor fan can be switched on? You can have them linked up to your light switch so when you flip it on it can turn on the extractor fan. You can also have the extractor fan have its own switch giving you more control of when it turns on and when it turns off. For example some people find that at night the fan noise disturbs their family when they are sleeping, so by having a separate switch they can have the lights on but no the fan. Whilst others forget to turn off the fan, so by having it linked to the light switch it helps them prevent wasting electricity.
